GUS Germany GmbH Announces Appointment of Maria Nek as Managing Director
GUS Germany GmbH is pleased to announce the appointment of Maria Nek as the new Managing Director of IC University Amsterdam (formerly Intercollege) and Co-Managing Director of HTK Academy. Maria joined the team on August 15, 2024, bringing with her over a decade of experience in international education management and business development.
Maria’s career highlights include co-founding and managing the European Cultural Academy, an international art institution, as well as serving as Vice President of Business Development at Higher Ed Partners, one of the world’s largest online program management (OPM) companies. She has also led the development of online and blended MBA programs at IE Business School in Spain. Maria holds a degree in Education from Moscow State University and a Master’s in Sociology from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris.
In her new roles, Maria will work closely with the executive management team at GUS Germany GmbH to drive innovation and foster growth at both the IC University Amsterdam (formerly Intercollege) and HTK Academy. Her strategic vision and wealth of experience are expected to play a vital role in steering both institutions toward their next phases of development.
